I would like to remap my keys so that quick click on the "home" button shows the list of running apps, and a long click minimizes all apps and shows the desktop (the opposite of how it now works).

Anyone happen to know if/how this is possible please?

Don't know how it would be possible, but IMHO would be far more practical your way than the actual one (it is more probable that in full screen mode I want to switch aplpication rather than minimizing all...)

I'm not sure about remapping the hardware keys.
On my 770 I remapped keys on my BT mini keyboard to provide special keys using xmodmap and xev. These files came from debian linux arm. This is only possible using the 2005OS since the 2006 stuff is not binary compatible anymore.
It is possible that someone will eventually compile what is needed for the 2006OS, but I'm not going there to wait for it.

Another nice thing, which I have not yet looked up, is how to change the repeat delay when one keeps a button depressed.
