    Flashers? The difference is mine is just a GUI for reflashing the OS, wrapping up the flasher.macosx if you don't want to use the command line.

    For example, you can just drag the .bin file onto the 770Flasher icon and follow the prompts to reflash.

    At some point I hope to redo it as a Java/SWT/full-blown Mac app, but at the moment it's a combination of CocoaDialog, Platypus and Perl.

    well, when I wrote my message there were two executables for Mac OS X (actually three, I mean two of version 2.0). There were a slight differences in size.
    Don't remember if I downloaded both of them, I'll check later and let you know.

    Now there's only one ver. 2.0

    I get this error when trying to upgrade to OS2006

    Suitable USB device not found, waiting
    Error claiming USB interface: No such file or directory
    SW version in image: SU-18_2006SE_1.2006.26-8_PR_MR0
    Image '2nd', size 8704 bytes
    Image 'secondary', size 87040 bytes
    Image 'xloader', size 13824 bytes
    Image 'initfs', size 1890304 bytes
    Image 'kernel', size 1266560 bytes
    Image 'rootfs', size 60030976 bytes
    USB device found found at bus 002, device address 004-0421-0105-02-00

    Anyone else got the same error?

    Yes, I had exactly the same problem. I never figured out how to fix it. I ended up flashing my 770 using a Linux box with a rather outdated kernel. Much to my surprise, I was able to upgrade my 770 with no problems at all.
