Nokia makes the best phones in the world. Best reception, sound quality. Why or why could the release OS 2006 without BT headset support. At least it sees the device now when i try to pair. Nice tease.
Did anyone think at Nokia it be remotely usable to hold the darn thing up to your head.My calls sound like I am talking through a Radio Shack 1970's speaker phone.

There are SO many people out there that constantly complain about why nokia didn't do this, and why they didn't do that...I mean sorry to sound like a total A**hole...but let's be reasonable. They told us it was a device with high resolution...Done. They said it would give you email and web browsing...done. I don't recall the initial release saying ANYthing about voip...delivered...yet people complain about something given to us that was never marketed. If you just purchased it, go return it. Buy yourself a Windows based Axim, enjoy the lower resolution, the prices of apps, the barely decent browsing on a smaller screen...then again...as always, this is just my opinion.

On a lighter note, I just love porn in the palm of my hand.

LOL! What are you doing with the *other* palm?

Anyway, Nokia marketed the 770 promising from the start about the voip, saying it was planned for the OS2006 release

Well, I don't know about everyone else, but with the flexibility of Linux inside it's just a matter of time before we get what we want and more working. It's all about patience my friends.

lol...yeah don't get me started about that Mike character...I'm just sayin, there are too many good things about the 770 that out weigh the bad...of course it could do this and that, have more this, and a ton more of that...they make the best phones in the world...agreed. Internet tablets are a new venture for them.

Edit: Maxi, I personally don't remember it, maybe it just wasn't important for me...I'm not saying that they didn't mention it. I'm just sayin I don't remember.

Well, let's be fair. It gives you Web browsing, at any rate.

It's not called an Internet Tablet for nothing. It does really well for its main purpose (wirless Internet browsing). As for everything else, I consider those bonus apps. The fact that it's heart is Debian Linux is still beyond many people's comprehension (including mine). I can see how it's frustratingly hard to figure out where the hardware limitations begin and the software possibilities end. It is very much a new concept (application and hardware wise). We just have to adapt to it's capabilities and realize it's full potential. I think some day we'll see the 770 as a step closer to being able to access a world of information instantaniously...by thought alone.
