Does anyone know if this busybox version posted in the 2006 section of maemo.org works on the 2006 Final. It says for 2006beta, but has anyone tried it on 2006 final?
I've been running it for a few days now, and it seems to be fine. I haven't used everything in it, but telnet, ping and traceroute all ran without issues.

I successfully used that version of busybox under the beta and the final version of IT2006.
Although I faced a severe problem regarding IPv6 and the final: I can't get a kernel image with IPv6 support running - flashing results in a reboot loop.
With the beta version I was able to use the kernel that is suggested and linked to in that section of the ApplicationCatalog you were mentioning and my self-compiled kernel, too.
Any help on getting a customized kernel running under IT2006 final is very much appreciated.
