i think it has to do with the fact that in ubuntu hardy theres no usbgroup anymore.. how should I flash my n800 now ? access to a windows pc is out of the question!

Wow posted this a long time and still no reply ? No uses ubuntu 8.04 here ? or has tried to flash the n800 ?

eh, i flash fine in gutsy & hardy. make sure to use sudo.

I agree with the above.

use sudo and flashing will work with Hardy 32 and 64 editions.
