work's great ... followed your instruction waiting for the update was not as clear as it might have been...when I first installed blank NA's and after the boot also, then after about a min less than the 2 mins...everything kicked in....I forgot to connect to the wifi...
Omweather does not use Geoclue 'API'. I couldn't find GeoClue for OS2008(chinook).Instead it I used Liblocation http://maemo.org/development/documen....html#Location
And for for weather forecast applet uses Weather.com's free XML service.

Hm... OMWeather stopped working for me and my fiancée. Anyone else having problems? All I am getting is "N/A" for all days and locations. Manual update or rebooting doesn't help.
theres another thread about it , but to sum it up , theres nothing wrong with the tablet or software , it seems that weather.com changed something in their coding...kind of like the issue of how the youtube plugin in canola stopped working , if you had to deal with that
