If I can suggest or even beg, please avoid spreading the Diablo pre-release since it still contains a lot of bugs which non-tech-savvy members might not appreciate and not know how to fix.

For those who have uploaded them somewhere, please avoid posting the download links directly. Tech-savvy members who really want to try out Diablo (at their own risk), please just PM the members who have the links.

    Thanks.

    qwerty12 is the king

    I'm running the Diablo initfs.

I used fanoush's initfs flasher removal list to rip out the files on my computer.

BME in battery information isn't working but the ipv6 script runs. Here is some proof, look at the screenie. Anyone running diablo officially hopefully should be able to confirm. (If you don't get what the proof is, then this doesn't apply to you )

Okay guys, the new Flash 9 (reported version 9.0.31) works on OS2008 with the old browser, but you need to copy three files - libflashplayer, libcrypto and libssl (0.9.8 for these two).

EDIT: It also almost works in OS2008HE One can only get the version though.

In Diablo, metalayer-crawler0 starts in rc3.d, so the disable command after stopping the daemon should be:

    Code:
    mv /etc/rc3.d/S99metalayer-crawler0 /etc/rc3.d/K99metalayer-crawler0
@Qwerty12: browserd is MicroB related daemon here, not Samba.

EDIT: In fact browserd is taking care of the browser windows management and it is the reason only one window dies in a crash.

I know, I realised it afterwards. Benson said it was samba related.

Seconded and I couldn't have said this better. You got the scoop and you had fun. I don't want to play the devil advocate's role but now please keep the software for yourselves. Not (only) because the license says A, B, C but (specially) because what you have is not final software and in the hands of non-expert users it might create evil confusion and trouble.

Wait just a bit and you will have a proper Diablo release. We can't tell exactly when but surely after an amount of time you can afford. Why not contributing new http://maemo.org/downloads/product/O...numptyphysics/ levels in the meantime?

    Thanks!

These guys are too resourceful for their own good. Especially this qwerty kid. I suggest we quarantine 'em all on some remote island with no internet access.
