In xterm
cp /var/lib/gconf/apps/maemo/omweather/\%gconf.xml /media/mmc2

Then connect usb-cable and get from flash-card file %gconf.xml

It actually started working by this morning so at some point overnight it obviously found the last day. So everything is working find. Thanks again.

Mine does the same thing. It usually happens after the current day temperature switches to evening temperature/forecast. I'm thinking it's just how weather.com is updating their weather information now. Otherwise everything works perfectly.

After updating to the new release, my N800 locked up. After a few reboots I was able to turn off OM Weather, but now several of my hardware buttons don't work. Specifically, the power button has no effect, nor does the "home" button. The select button also doesn't work. I'm running OD2007.

The machine is running, although somewhat crippled without several of the hardware buttons functional. I'll reflash this evening and re-install everything (but not OM Weather!)

Fat fingers... I'm running OS2007 on a N800. And the select button does appear to be working; just the power button and the home button have died.

More detail... Power button works, sort of; but it does not pop up the little windows offering to lock the screen, etc. If I hold the power button down for several seconds, the machine shuts down. If the N800 is off, holding the power button does not light up the LED, but the machine boots. The home button is completely disfunctional.

Everything worked properly before I attempted to upgrade to the latest release.

It cured itself. I uninstalled OM Weather, shut down, removed the battery, and waited ten minutes before putting the battery back and rebooting. My hardware buttons work again. Very strange.
