I keep mine in my briefcase but have it out to check email or play Numpty whenever I have a spare minute. Last thing before I go to sleep, too
I use my n800 as a voip phone, to monitor emails, as mp3 player, rss reader, web browser, internet radio player etc etc.
I have no problem using it at work because one of my roles is security manager! Sometimes I visit our ISP colo facility and use it to send messages to colleagues back in the office, much easier than breaking out my laptop, and with the noise there you can't really use a phone!
