i canīt use my nokia bluetooth keyboard su-8w in maemo 2006 anymore, with the new bt-plugin 4.0-2 i canīt type ä ö etc. and it crashes when i use google. keyboard for me is essential.

Yes, it's doable but you can't do it with the windows program as far as I know, only the flasher-2.0 program for Linux will work.
The easiest way to do it is probably to download a Linux Live CD, like Knoppix, burning that to a CD and then booting your computer off that. Then you just download the 2005 OS image and the flasher-2.0 program from maemo.org and use that per the instructions.

I flashed back to the 2005 os for the same reason after trying the 2006 beta but have since installed the 2006 OS release and am currently living without full keyboard functionality... everything else I needed was available. It's a pain, but I'm hoping for a fully functional BT mod in the near future.
