I notice that gronmayer.com/it is down again with a PHP error.
It's not running for profit, and so the substantial amount of traffic that the site receives will be costing the owners *something*, and they are obviously under no obligation to provide any kind of service at all. They do a good job running the service.
Are there any other easy-to-use repository listings available? I can regularly find the location of official repositories, but the official software is not what we bought the tablet for, is it? It's the experimental and more out-of-the-way software. It becomes hard to get the locations of great repositories when gronmayer.com is down.
There are obvious trust issues with adding repositories to your tablet, but putting these aside for this discussion, is there anywhere comparable to gronmayer.com/it where I can easily get a good, extensive list of repositories, and which I know will be there in a few days' time? If not, can we establish one?
It's what's missing from the maemo site, for a start.
What do you think?
