Anybody know a hack or someway to get GPE Summary to look X days ahead and display upcoming Appointments instead of just appointments for that day?

It is so much better for me to see the next few days upcoming appointments.

Thanks.

Does it have to be X days?

I am in awe / disbelief / feel sorry for you if you have more than 14 appointments/todos per day.

Have you tried to set the GPE Summary Option to "Show ~## appointments/todos"?

I think the point is, like it is for me, you don't necessarily have any appointments for today, but for tomorrow or later than that, and would like to have a reminder visible couple of days beforehand.

The other point, implied by Snoshrk, was that you can tell GPE Summary roughly how many upcoming appointments you want to see. If there aren't enough today it will show tomorrow as well, and so on. It isn't quite the same as showing N days, but at least for some uses it's good enough.

the show # appointments doesn't work because it shows # appts for THAT day only. emjayes hit the nail on the head though.

Weird: right now mine (2.8+maemo+svn20080114-2, from one of the standard repositories if I remember right) shows the next three days. But yes, if it showed only the current day I'd me mightily annoyed too.

Really weird....

I have GPE summary set to display ~8 Appts /todos with the following checked: Show Appts, Autorefresh, & Extended view.

I normally only have ~6 lines visible on the home screen at one time, but here is what mine looks like when I expand it out:

Interesting. I wonder if My GPE Summary is even reading my Calendar as it shows No appointments at all in the summary screen and I know I have at least a handful that should be showing according to your screenshot.

I wonder how far ahead it actually looks into the database when it pull the info?
