Could you explain a little more what you are trying to do?

You can get yourself into a heap of trouble, and hardly anyone needs to do it.

Like, how do I change the passcode to be able to use my device? I don't want my 3 year-old going into the programs and messing things up.

Let them play with it once they mess it up show them how to reflash it. My 3 year old neice already knows more about computers and electronics then many adults. When she was 2 I taught her the names of all the parts of a computer. She already has a palm she will get a nokia in a year or two.

I agree that children should be taught to leave daddy's toys alone and to ask before touching.

However, I think you are referring to the Device Lock. Surprised that nobody mentioned it instead of these answers. In Control Panel, General, Device Lock. Set a timeout and your passcode.

I bought mine off an auction site, and the previous owner's password is still on mine. It's not too much of a hassle since it's not turned on anything really, but I cannot lock the device.
Any ideas?
(And no i cannot contact the previous owner, story)
