Ptunes does not install. It installed before(previous beta) but didn't run. They still list it as an application that is compatible, so I'm not sure what compatible means. Not much I guess.

Still trying.. I think I made a mistake....

Is there any way of making portrait mode work in reverse? The way it works on the N800 is annoying because of the bump, it fits better in my hand in the other direction.

I don't think you can. I think they chose that direction so you can use your nav keys similar to a regular palm device.

If you have an x server with rotation support, you can rotate using "xrandr -o inverted"

It also works on 770 running 2008He. It takes forever to load, but it loads eventually. And after it loads, it runs very fast in the palmOS and, best of all, it also hotsync with address, To Do List and Date Book.

Edit: 2nd time load is fast....
Edit: You got to be kidding, GoogleMaps Mobile installed without a glitch on 770/2008He and runs just as fast as on N8x0. Wow! GVM runs very smooth and fast on 770/2008He, I would called it the no.1 apps on the 770/2008He platform. Now I have 2 big favorite apps running on the 2008He, MaemoMapper and GVM and "shared folders", and it breaths new life to my 770.

Now, I have A problem....if I just use the 770/2008He as a palm, I see NO difference between the 770, N800, N810. Does that imply I will soon surrender my N810 to the CEO of my house, my wife? Wow, I love GVM on 770!

    770/2008He

I seem to have a Big problem. I hotsynced and now I have lost the use of Garnet gvm. So I uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Garnet is gone and all I get is the message Can't connect to GVM error 0x300400000. Does anyone know whats wrong or what I can do?

No book reader running at less than 800x480 is worth discussing.
