Agreed. It is indeed far better at it's job than any other comparable device. However I feel it still has a very long way to go.

As for sites where it doesn't work so well... We're using one now

My point exactly. But that's not how the complaints tend to be framed. Yours included.

Please don't get all defensive because I criticised the NIT
I didn't. Just pointing out some irony. Don't make the mistake of looking for too much hidden meaning in my posts.

I'm not complaining though. I'm trying to offer some constructive criticism. I've owned all three tablets and there's currently nothing I'd trade my N810 in for.

However I have no brand loyalty to Nokia. If something came along to serve my needs better I'd be gone. There's still a lot of work for Nokia to do. I'm just not seeing any signs of it being done to the scale that I think is needed.

The original poster made some interesting comments. Ones that we've seen echoed many times in this forum. Perhaps being an internet tablet alone isn't enough anymore? How many of us use our tablets only to access the internet after all? Food for thought maybe.

And that is the NIT's fault and somehow the iAnythingelse does it better?

I'll say one thing, the NIT won't make breakfast for me and that's too bad. But despite what every review says, the NIT is a great phone. At least while I'm in North America it is a far better phone.

Constructive criticism is great stuff. The OP even included some interlaced in the hyperbole.

I'm confused now. I have no idea what you are talking about but looking at the first line you appear to have confused me with an Apple fanboy.

Oh my. I didn't realise they'd added tethering support to the Pandora. I'll have to start paying more attention to that direction.

this back and forth about a good web experience reminds me of chippy over at umpcportal and his "full internet experience" line...

it seem that with web 2.0, the web have become tv 2.0...
