As I posted in your other thread, what exists right now is a quick port of Motion. It's not what you're looking for, but it could act as a starting point for some basic functionality. Sadly, the link to konfoo's port is broken.

In the end though, something as slick as what you want may be unrealistic with current hardware.

But it's probably cheaper, if you count your time for anything, to add an accelerometer in hardware...
