hi, im having a problem with my benq desksaver keyboard connected to my 770 using a power inyector hack. the problem is that i cant write anything, only <backspace>, and <tab> works, and when u press <enter> the virtual keyboard goes away. i thought it was problem of my benq keyb but when i connect it to my PC, it works fine. so any ideas?

uhmmm this is weird... i can use the keyboard ONLY on the xterm when i am in notes or in the web, none of the characters sent through the keyboard is recognized....
please someone help... i am using OS2006

Yes, I have posted about this problem in another thread.

External Keyboards (Appearently BT and USB) seem to be broken in OS2006.

I do not know if the problem is the same for USB and BT keyboards, or if they have different problems.

I have tried mine with my mini USB keyboard, and an Apple standard USB keyboard. Problem is the same as what you describe.

I submitted a Maemo bug, but appearently, nobody has voted for it.

Crossbow...the newest armel.deb BTKBPlugin (posted on maemo.org 2006 wip repository) works with Nokia and ThinkOutside BT keyboards. The functionality is still Beta, but works with most applications...Cyberhog
