Hi,
today, I [finally] decided to buy myself a bluetooth headset. I had some rigorous requirements:
- wind & noise cancellation
- min of 8h battery life
- support of music streaming
- support of connectivity to two [or more] devices simultaneously.
The idea for the two last requirements was easy: I would be able to listen to music from my n800, and if someone called me, I would hear the ring, and switch to my cell phone to answer.
I was able to find such a device for 79,99 CDN, what seemed as quite a reasonable price. I was able to connect it to both my n800 and my cell (Sony Ericsson Z710i), and I tried to have a conversation or listen to music. It all worked perfectly.

Yet I had a problem for multitasking. In the instruction manual, it is written that to retrieve a call from the second phone while talking on the first, the procedure was simple:
1) hang up call
2) answer call - the headset switches automatically.
This is where the problem occurred: when I click the hang up button for the n800's music stream, the IT AUTOMATICALLY reconnects, thus I am unable to stop music playback to answer the phone.
The headset actually has two commands:
- hang up call
- transfer call to phone (disconnect bluetooth headset, but do not hang up).
My n800 reconnects within a second in both these cases.
Does anyone have any ideas how to terminate this connection from the headset?
Thank you
Ilia
