I tried to install 5 times KDE358 and I do not.
I have 1 N810 with OS2008.50.3 just install a card and 4GB.
How can I describe the procedure to install correctly, with all posts on the subject, I do not know what are the valid!

are you sure it is OS2008.50.3? I think I am using the latest which is 2.2007.51-3. May be update that first will help.

1) You need to do boot from SD. There are millions thread about this, I do it my way here, specially for N810, http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...+clone&page=30, thread #292. or your choice, http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ighlight=clone, or http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ighlight=clone. And of course, there is always the wiki.

I repartiton my MMC boot to make 2.4 G partition on the rootfs. I then dl kde-installer-v3.deb from http://penguinbait.com/, the 5th one from top, kde-installer-v3 (boot from SD only), and click on the .deb file, it will automatically install under app manager. It took 40 min for my N810. Reboot, and KDE will be under Extra.
