go to settings and add the "-b " parameter for youtube-dl .

however it does not work for all videos, and some videos require too much cpu to be watchable with mplayer.

Hi Guys,

I've "upgraded" to Diablo and now I'm not able to install mytube. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Just create a new catalog with the following info:

Catalog name: maemo Extras chinook
Web address: http://repository.maemo.org/extras/
Distrbution: chinook
Components: free non-free

That's all. The old applications will appear as installable applications.

I had problems finding mtube again also... don't believe it's in extras. I'm using:

I can't install python2.5-hildon and python-gdata which means I can't install MyTube. It says the application package is incompatible.

did you try with apt-get from xterm?

i'll give diablo a try this weekend and see what issues exists and can be fixed.

I tried adding this option, but my version of youtube-dl doesn't support any of the format options because it is too old. How do I get the latest version? I have mYTube 0.1.2 installed.

hmm, how come that mytube keep a entry in saved even after the video have been deleted?

also, why does it try to play the video after i have watched it and hit cancel in the mytube ui?
