Skype isn't working well for anyone running os2008, as far as I know. What happens to you is exactly what happens to me. Hopefully it will be corrected soon.

Hi, I have just purchased a Nokia N800 with OS2008. When I call someone on Skype or receive a call it stays conected no more than a minute or less and then the program shuts down. I have a very good conection at home and the office. Same results both place. Can someone help before I throw it out the window. Thanks

I've downloaded it again and it works,even though it is not the version for the n800 is the one for n810,for some reason you can't download the latest version... although skype has it officially on its web page...

Are we saying that downloading the latest version from the skype web site for the NIT's solves the problem of video calls closing?
Instructions are clear on how to install via "download now" option http://skype.com/download/skype/nokia/downloading/

Skype used to work good for me. When skype updated 2007 it quit. OS2008 same story.

Same here, works fine in N800 with OS2008.
