How about anything in your application manager log? Its really wierd?

the files can be downloaded manually from

    http://tablethacker.com/software

Can you get there with your tablet? perhaps DNS problems??

I confirm that installing wget manually your deb download the 300MB file...
    It is very strange.
Now I'm downloading the file, I hope that this time work

P.S. I can manually download the file, so this is not a DNS problem

So your saying, if you install wget, the deb will then download?

I will look into it - any application manager logs???
    -------------------------

This is how its called, so I am not sure how wget would effect it?

Disregard what I said about untarring not working. I was wrong it does untar I was just so impatient that I shut down the tablet before it was done.

Confirm that after manually installation of wget all work perfectly.
    I successfully installed KDE
However I don't understand why I had to install wget...

There is a missing library not on the new system, I use wget, so my wget was not working. I had tested but had previously installed wget already so mine worked.

You all are not crazy, its just me

I will have v4 ready in a hour or two and I reccomend using v4 instead anyway.
