Hi

I am a newbie to the world of nokia internet tablets but I have just bought a nokia n800 and I love it. I am trying to get a calendar app on there that can sync with my Google calendar and from what I have seen gpe-calendar and Erminig seem to be the best combination (if this is not correct please tell me if there are other solutions out there). I managed to get all the software installed and started to sync my calendar entries but for some reason it didn't seem to sync all of them. I could not figure out why this was. I then noticed that gpe-calendar has a 'subscribe' option when creating a calendar so I thought I would try to subscribe to my Google calendar like I do on my mac. I entered the url in the create calendar window but now when I open up gpe-calendar it just closes itself back down again. I can no longer open gpe-calendar without it closing down straight away.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can get this to work again? It seems to be to do with the calendar I created with the subscribe url as all was OK when I was using it with Erminig (even though all the calendar entries were not being sync'ed). I have tried to uninstall gpe-calendar but when I installed it again all the data was still there (I could see this from the bit of the main screen I can see before it closes) and it then shut itself down. Maybe I need to uninstall everything that I installed with gpe-calendar (alll the libs etc).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Lee

rm -rf ~/.gpe-calendar from the terminal -- that will wipe all the local calendars.

On this topic, what kind of calendar is the Subscribe option meant to be for? Sounds intriguing
(Although the fact that my N810 is with me everywhere just about rules out the need for a remote calendar...)

Subscibe is one-way only GCal --> GPE. Erminig is really the only two way option.
