I didn't know there was OpenGL for Maemo. That's great. I'm sure that's the best for maemo-compiled apps.

The only advantage to using it in Debian is if you want to install a game or something that requires OpenGL, and it hasn't been ported to Maemo yet, but it is available in Debian.

    Back to the thread...

Do we have at least a semi functional abiword yet?

Ah, the application port that never gets any love....

I installed, and it seems to work only with an external keyboard. Keyboard shortcuts to menu access, toggling between partial and full screen, etc., don't seem to work. Sigh.

What you do with this is:
    1.) Open the Application Manager
2.) Go to Tools -> Application catalog
    3.) Select New button
4.) Give a description under catalof name, put the web address EXACTLY as it's typed into Web address, chinook under Distribution and free nonfree under components.
    5.) Select OK
    6.) Select Close
7.) The Application catalog is going to update
    8.) Select Browse installable applications
9.) Abiword should be the first or second application. Install it already !!!
