This looks fine and the export is actually working, isn't it? But after that gpxview doesn't work anymore, or what's the problem?

I can't reproduce this. Can you send me more detailed instructions by personal message? What files have you loaded into gpxview (please send me those files)? Then you open one of those files (which are loc files, right?) and click on the single cache contained in that file. And then you do an export. And what exactly happens then?

It would be useful in the sense that it wouldn't require opening another app just to set the time, but I understand if you don't want to do it.

I tried gps-clockd, but it won't install. The standard "incompatible application package". It looks like a nice daemon, but I cannot get it to work on my N800.

Awesome app. I love finding new uses for the N800!

The hanging when exporting to MM is fixed in the latest version. And also german localization has been done.

All major features i wanted to add are there now

Under /settings/gpx list the visible items has an option for filename. What filename does this display? I have many .loc files with different names in a dir; gpx view shows them all under listing "Geocache". If I enable "filename" as a visible item, they all show up under "Geocache Goecache"

I would like to have each .loc file show up separately. Each one has about 10 locations.

If you import an entire directory then the GPX filename is set to the name of that directory. And since a directory doesn't have a name embedded the internal "gpx name" also is the directories ame. Hence you see the same name twice for imported directories.

If you want separate entries for all of your loc files you'll have to load them separately using the "load file" menu entry. Then the displayed filename will be the file name of each individual file.

Thanks, I renamed the dir and imported the files one by one; now they show up individually. But the display filename option still has me confused, it looks like it is just duplicating already displayed information.

This is since you are using loc files which contain few information only and e.g. lack an internal name. Once you use a gpx file the embedded name will show up in the second column. That's the moment when the ability to enable and disable the filename column starts to make sense.
