I just got my Nokia 770 about a week or two ago. Recently it has been closing applications when I didn't do anything to make it close. Also, it doesn't turn on sometimes, unless I plug it into my charger for less than a second, and then it turns on (even though it was on full power). I don't know if it is supposed to, but, it doesn't search for wifi signal when it is at 2 out of 4 bars of power.
I bought it used. Any idea where I may be able to get it fixed? Or would it be just as well to get a new one?
The N800 is so cheap right now, you'd be better off looking for one of those IMHO. It can do everything the 770 can and much more.
Also, the N800 has lots of software support because it can run the latest version of the tablet operating system, OS2008.
The 770's last official OS version is OS2006, which doesn't really get much support nowadays. (Nokia did release some "hacker edition" versions of OS2007 and OS2008 for the 770 but these aren't guaranteed to work.)
