I just got an N800 and I was wondering what are the must-have apps, and any cool things I can do with my N800. One thing I discovered on this forum is how to make and receive calls to/from a regular phone number using voxalot.com

    Hm,

the best are the ones that you use & need the most ! If you browse a little these forums you'll see that a few apps make a lot of folks very happy: What you'd like is probably: canola2, pidgin, gnumeric (maybe), OpenTTD, gpe-calendar (maybe), fbreader, evince, xournal and so on.

Also before installing all this apps you might be interested in updating your tablet to the latest available os - Diablo (if haven't done so already)

I think FRBreader can read rtf (not 100% sure tho).
    AbiWord can read doc files.

You can probably view powerpoint documents with the biggest viewer above Didn't try it though.
