    Hi.
Do you know about some Dictionary apps for the IT2006OS.
I mean silmilar as this was for the IT2005:
    http://www.industree.org/guaka/wiki/MaemoDict
the best thing youd be if we can reuse the dictionary files we used with the old OS.

    Check out SDict Viewer: http://sourceforge.net/projects/sdictviewer
Version 0.2.0 is packaged for 2006 OS. Many dictionaries are available at http://sdict.com.

How do you download the dictionary. I'm getting gibberish when I try to download it from sdict.com

There have to be other ways,
but I finally was able to select to save the file to disk
by using internet explorer 6 (shudder...)
and compulsively washing and rinsing my hands repeatedly.

Downloads used to work fine... looks like they "fixed" something.
Anyway, even though Firefox now opens .dct files instead of downloading, if you do "Save Page As..." you get uncorrupted dictionary file. Same works in 770's Opera, only with more hassle since Opera is annoyingly smart and messes up file names for the web pages you try to save.
