I have downloaded latest kernel

http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kern...-2.6.25.tar.gz

and mailbox is implemented...
can anybody confirm my assertion ?

your second link speak about old kernel 2.6.20 .... I have spoke about kernel 2.6.25... this is last release

I know, the second link was merely to indicate that Komal Shah has been active with the IVA stuff.

Regarding the patch, I think you might find that this patch is what brought it into mainline. If that is correct, the comment regarding a lack of a driver still stands.

I'll be over the moon to be proven wrong mind you

I found other information about IVA system...
It's also called DM270 ... coprocessor system

And I have found all memory address of OMAP2420... it's generic but I think it's a help...
