For writing documents you can use the built-in Notes application which saves in a .html file format which you can open with Word on your computer and edit without any problems.
For a bible, check out rapier. It's a free bible-reading software that is based on GNOME-Sword and has a bunch of different translations
1. download the .deb files in your computer, transfer them to the n800 and open them through the file browser which will automatically install them
2. in you n770/n810, go to application manager and look for installable applications (you need to be connected to a wifi access point)
you can add/remove any application you want. you can reinstall them anytime you want too.
I’m hook to the net and can’t uninstall these programs

opensh-client
openssh-server

whtestork whitesokgul
whitestorkgplugins
And I’m hook up to my net work. I was able to delete other stuff in the past
