hi, i'm considering to buy a n810 net tablet but i just have a few questions first.
there are lots of operating systems for the nokia n810 tablet but which one is has the apps i want and is most responsive?
all i need is :
an avi player??? if possible (i hate converting... takes too long... like 20 min per 700mb movie)
a iphone-esque web browser which is fast and responsive and supports flash videos...
an OS/app that can download content off the internet torrents/warez-bb stuff...
...
which OS is the fastest and most responsive?

I think you're looking for a laptop.

OS2008 Diablo is the best OS for N810 yet.
But you'll have to convert your videos. The browser is what it is, I like it. Using a torrent or P2P client on an internet tablet would ruin the memory card inside really quickly. P2P clients are too "writing intensive" for solid state memories. You should avoid it on portable devices.

I use Transmission for torrent downloads all the time on my N800 Diablo. I have a 2GB SD card I use when I want to download stuff and then transfer off. If the 2GB goes, it goes, no big deal and I swap my 2 x 4GB when not downloading.

I've mostly download films in avi (700MB size) and just use mplayer to watch them. When I rip my DVD to store on my laptop or N800 I have it automatically set to 700MB size.

Diablo OS is the latest and prob the best.
