Hi everyone,

I just got the n810 this week and I am looking into buying a new phone as well. Tmobile is my current service provider and I'm wondering which of their phones with bluetooth will be the best to connect to the internet with my n810.

I called Tmobile and asked them which phone worked best as a bluetooth modem and they told me the Dash, but after reading these forums I'm seeing that the Dash and N810 aren't compatible.

Thanks for your help

You'll probably get better help from actual t-mobile subscribers though.

I use an unlocked samsung D900 with a custom firmware. I highly recommend it. You can get one on ebay.

My wife got a motorola rizr from tmobile. She tethered it to her pda when she first got it; but hasn't tried it since. I haven't tried it with the n810; but I can't see a reason why it wouldn't work.

BTW, If you're planning to go with the $5.99 T-Zones plan, you should know that you'll need a proxy. Their proxy has been unreachable via DUN.

I'm thinking the Shadow might be one of the best, as AFAIK know it's the only one with 3G (which they're now rolling out).

Here's a how-to on connecting via t-zones. The linux instructions apply to the n810.
