Is there a good post on this forum or some info on ITT about programming in Python on the N810/N800? I'm mostly interested in using Python for the N810/N800 GUI specifically. (I did a search for "Python" on this forum and got too many matches to go through.)

http://diveintopython.org/ this book will help you learn python.

Then to learn GTK/Hildon, the best way is to learn from apps already written such as gpodder.
