Good news, I managed to build the drivers. Untested as I don't have an r8187.

Built using diablo kernel sources, patched to use msoft-float instead and EHCI check removed. I also compiled the supplied wpasupplicant using defconfig, but I don't think it will be useful and its already been done on this forum before

Hey guys I am trying to load the drivers you provided and I am getting some strange errors. (firmware is the one before diablo)

in the logs I get:
ieee80211_crypt_ccmp_rtl unknown symbol crypto_alloc_base
crypto_free_tfm

same for ieee80211_crypt_wep_rtl and ieee80211_crypt_tkip_rtl

looks like when the driver was compiled didn't detect the kernel version properly and compiled against a previous version.

you guys have any clue? or would it be possible to recompile if I tell you which firmware I am using?

also how are you able to get the kernel header files to work properly in scratchbox? I am having a hell of a time finding them.

What sequence are you loading the modules? There is a script that loads them in the right order...

Hey sorry for the delay. I am loading the drivers using a custom script. I moved the required bins and copied the install directions from the script provided. I didn't feel like having to move everything over. Only thing I can think of is that I am using a for loop in bash instead of manually writing the commands. However, unless Bash is doing something stupid it should be in the proper order. I will take a look and post back to you. Also, would it be possible to send me your bins for the driver?

Hi qwerty12, i've been trying to compile this driver with titan's kernel-power v46 for maemo5 and N900

I was able to compile all modules at ieee80211 folder but under beta-8187 folder it fails, same issue as you've got before at beta-8187/Makefile:
#EXTRA_CFLAGS += -mhard-float -DCONFIG_FORCE_HARD_FLOAT=y
EXTRA_CFLAGS += -msoft-float -DCONFIG_FORCE_HARD_FLOAT=n

I've also got the same issue with no EHCI support at kernel-power so i tried to recompile your driver, with no success, beta-8187/r8187_core.o fails.

Could you please help me qwerty12, could you try to recompile it for titan's power-kernel v46?
