Hello,
i am trying to download some new maps from wayfinder and each time it gets about 2/3 of the way trhough and then it fails. i have deleted other maps to make room but still the problem persists. any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You can always download them manually here http://www.navicoretech.com/Consumer...B/wfnavigator/ and then transfer them manually to the right directory.

Thank you for the link to manually download the map file. I'm not sure what others had to do but I had to manually overwrite all the *.qt , *.bin, and a few other files in the mapdata directory to update the map. Although it was a little time intensive, in the end it worked fine.

I guess this is part of the learning process for a n810 newbie!

Can someone please torrent the Wayfinder maps?

I was finally able to download them directly to my N800 after disabling the connection timeout. The download comes in little "spurts" the intervals between which are seen as inactive if you don't disable this feature.
