When will the Sandisk 16gb micro sd card be released? Everyone said that it was going to be released in June. Should I buy an 8gb micro or will the 16gb micro sd be released soon?

Sandisk announced a 12GB microSDHC card back in January. It is still not available.

Edit: apparently a 16 GB card was announced at the same time as the 12GB card. The following source says that the 12GB card may be skipped for the 16GB card:

A quick google for "16Gb micro sdhc" reveals a lot of information.

MyMemory.co.uk is actually listing a SanDisk 16GB Class 4 microSDHC card although it's just a place-holder as clicking through shows them out of stock.

Yes it is. The 16gb and 32gb are out there. Just not many stores are carrying them because of the price. Here's one that does have them:

EDIT: Oooo. Hold onto your britches, I just got word about some big announcements are due out soon in regards to high capacity cards. I can't say my source, but they include a 64gb and 128gb microsd, and 32-128gb minisd.

That's a pre-order, it says the 1st shipment should arrive in early October.
