    Park WiFi Detector
    Parkcast

These two apps are to celebrate the opening of their NYC store. They've WiFied 10 NYC parks and these are apps for that.

"This handy application will automatically detect a free Nokia ParkWiFi network in the range and get you connected in quickly."

it'd be nice if the wifidetector wouldn't crash my itT all the time.

update: had to turn off background scanning before I tried to do anything

It never crashed mine. Got 2006?

    Update: OIC.

Update 2: Just crashed mine. And wouldn't let RSS load. Bugger. Still, it *looks* pretty... maybe a sign of OS 2007?

i am liking the auto connect with the background scanning without having to open up a browser window. although i wonder how much of a battery drain it could be if its scanning all the time

what is the difference here with the in-bult thing that comes up with available networks to connect to? I use that to find hotspots/wifi connections when I'm out and about all over the place?
