Hey!

Anyone tested the new Super Tiny Keyboard from USB Brando?

Looks neet, and tiny
The question is if it works with N8x0

Check it out.

If you look closely at that picture, you'll see the keyboard is just sitting on top of a standard keyboard for scale.

And this is already being discussed over here; I don't think anyone's got one to try yet, but it's a USB keyboard; it'll work.

Huh? In the picture you linked, all I saw was this keyboard on a fullsize white keyboard. So I'll go look again... Yes, I missed it. That is tiny; I was looking at the medium and large keyboard.

In the other thread, a couple links for mini-mini cables; I'd search dealextreme and the like for weird cables. You could also probably find a retractable micro-B to A cable, cut and splice that to the included mini-B to A cable... whatever you do will probably lack auto-OTG, though.

Since these showed up on dealex, I may buy one yet. Have to work up a cardboard cutout and see.

If this were a bluetooth keyboard, I'd jump on it in a heartbeat. But that size is great.

Do want.

But I'd need a little cloth case for it.
I don't konw how well it'd survive being thrown into a booksack alone.
But it's also cheap, and extremely portable, that's a plus.

Maybe if I can decide I'll need a keyboard, when I eventually get my N800, I might have to give this one a whirl.

Brando had a free shipping offer, so I took advantage of it and bought a super-tiny-keyboard. I also bought a usb-chargeable 2400mAh external battery too and a small SDHC reader.

People with zauruses might be interested in a size comparison, so there's one too.

I got my "spare" n800 back from friend (note - it's for sale. will post message soon), along with the "nano" keyboard and adaptor. The tablet detected usb device, reported an incompatibility, said "no access to storage" but did enable the keyboard. For some reason it locked into number-pad mode, which a bit of fiddling with Fn-numlock etc sorted.

Yes it works fairly well EXCEPT that the cursor keys (Fn-cursor) don't work, and it IS useable - a little better than my Zaurus in some respects. I shall have a play with key mappings and follow-up in due course.

Attached are two more photos showing relative sizes, hope that helps!
