Just a quick question. How do you change CPU mode without root? I don't think that is possible right?
Or you are doing the unthinkable, and running liqbase as root by default!
Thesandlord,
you are right, it requires root access to write to the required cpufreq area.
As part of the .deb package 3 short scripts are installed and added to sudoers.
liqbase-cpu-powersave
liqbase-cpu-ondemand
liqbase-cpu-performance
(i might not have the names correct, im on downtime for a bit now )
Upon switching in the UI these scripts are called with "sudo ..."
The alternative would have been to keep the entire application inside root, but I thought this was unacceptable.
Well, I found the bacon pretty shortly; made me so hungry I had to go to the store and get some this afternoon, and I'm now eating supper -- a big bowl of tomato-bacon soup, with bacon on the side.
Running the above command I get "Unsupported color conversion request" - printed in the console, no error message in liqbase.log.
fpp, if you simply run liqbase-run it should spew lots and lots of things to the console before it gets to this error.
A few lines up there (should be) the filename being opened.
I know what the problem is, but to confirm it and check is it possible for you to send me the file.
Jott installed it for me in c-base the other day, now the dust has settled and crashanddie has kindly cleansed up the code I was gonna have a looksie at it.
Its interested me greatly from the start and infact a lot of the internals are hand coded to work rotated (like the font loading and stuff)
Obviously if I can use xrandr for rotation I can strip out another major blast of cruft
I'll post an update later if I manage to get onto it.
Rotation by xrandr would rock. I tried rotating and started the prog but it crashed immediately.
Bookreader is great! I love the autoscroll. I am a hairs-breadth away from giving up on fbreader and switching to liqbase; would love to have options for other book types, and linefeed/CR options.
When drawing, and using the stamp tool, everything looks fine, but when I switch to view or physics, the stamps come out looking like single diagonal lines....
Here's my thoughts:
1) I'd like to see note organization, kinda like Physics mode, but sticky. That way you could take notes on anything and keep it organized. Folders would be a nice option
2) Page templates would be cool too.
3) Bacon.
Are you still building this natively on the device?
