I deleted the GPS data from the internal 2GB. Is there a way to restore it?

If you mean the map data it can be downloaded via the map program.
Just start the program and it should tell you if it doesn't have map data available.
However, if it don't ask you to find/download it you should do this:
Open the drop-down-menu -> Maps -> Available maps -> Update
Then go through and find the maps that is relevant to you and choose download.

    Hope this helps,
    Truls

Thanks. As a side note, I installed Memo Mapper also, but there's no icon in the menu, I have to run it from the terminal. Is there a good way to fix that? I'm on Diablo.

MamemoMapper : yes but it involves getting root access and moving files from the root directory. It is all explined in the MaemoMapper Thread ...

Or Wait for a update !

I use "Personal menu" and was able to create a click able link by entering the command line and selecting one of the available icons. A much simpler process than Linux command line in an N810 terminal window.

Thanks, what repository is "Personal menu" in? And TrulsT, what you said worked perfectly, though downloading 750MB to the n810 is pretty slow.

Personal-menu is in maemo-extras, so using "click to install" from http://maemo.org/downloads/product/O...personal-menu/ should work fine. Alternatively, check your repository list in Application Manager and make sure extras is enabled (it's disabled by default) and go to browse available applications and it should be in the accessories section.

BTW: I'm a fan of your printer hacking page

Thanks, glad you like my site. I'm a noob to the n810, but so far I love the device. I just wish the power cord did not wiggle so much, it feels like it's not all the way in.
