It is not a big deal at all but I got all icons from OS2007 task navigator replacing the OS2008 icons after installing/trying out the NuvoBlack theme. It also changed the status indicators!
So how do I get back to the original icons for those areas, task navigator and status indicator?
Yeah, NuvoBlack will install on OS2008, however the icons do NOT remove after rebooting (as suggested by the creator). Sadly, they actually end up showing up in more places after rebooting.
I know this thread is quite old, but I thought I might find out what, if anything, helped restore the OS2008 icons.
I don't usually go for fancy themes but I thought I'd try a few after reflashing (bad idea).
Remember: when uninstalling a theme make sure the theme is not currently in use! This can cause all kinds of problems, like not being able to remove icon files that are currently in use. This applies for all themes.
