The T-mobile G1 doesn't support tethering, so unfortunately it won't work.

I'm just quoting what T-mobile said at the launch. If you can get an N810 to connect through the G1 using Edge, then T-mobile is saying incorrect things.

Or do you perhaps have a pre-production G1 which is not crippled?
