    Pidgin automatically chages to Away

    I am running Pidgin on an N800 with OS2008. It works great (much improved over its predecessor gaim) EXCEPT when I set my status as "available" it will, in a few minutes, switch back to "away." I've searched for any defaults for idle time - could not find any in menus. Also, I installed the plugin for setting idle time ... used it to turn idle off or to set for an hour ... neither worked still changed to "away" after a few minutes.

    Don't use it on my N810, but in the Desktop version it's
    Tools -> Preferences -> Status/Away

    Thanks ... I examined my desktop version and realized it is the fartherst right tab under tools > preferences ... it doesn't show up on the N800 until you actively tab over. Sorry about this ... it is kinda tablet 101 to know that you have to move around a bit on the screen.

    the problem with tabbed interfaces on the tablet is that the only way to spot additional tabs out of view is by looking at arrows at the end of the tab row...
