Talk about "random kernel releases on the web". Geez. Please, please, please, can we have a centralized place for kernels?

I have been trying lately to create some new kernels (specifically the 2.6.25 which is used in Android) but haven't had any luck.

Is there anywhere to get a patch that you can apply to a stock 2.6.21 kernel to get the current kernel used in Maemo?

The newer kernels use a different wireless stack, and the WiFi driver was closed source. There is a newer WiFi driver open sourced by Nokia but its not fully completed yet.

You can get the kernel source just with APT in the SDK or downloading it manually.

No. However you can get Nokia source + latest diff here
http://repository.maemo.org/pool/dia...source-diablo/
and then make diff to stock 2.6.21 yourself.

In general Nokia kernels are based on linux-omap tree with additional patches.
