I have bought a N810 second hand just more than a month ago. It came with a screen protector that the last owner bought, but the screen protector now has all types of scratches on it. I want to get another screen protector that is more durable. There are tons of screen protectors out there, but I don't know which ones are the most durable one against scratches of the stylus. Which ones would you recommend? Thanks.

I swear there was a thread on exactly this topic posted just hours ago.

Thanks Ryan. I didn't even know that there's a wiki on this. However, I am having problems loading that wiki link right now.

Yeah, it's down for a server move. Should be back up for good in the morning.

I know this thread was posted a long time ago. I have purchased a Boxwave protector, and the adhesive got worn out after half a year. Is this still be best option available?

The screen protector I use is the DuraSec one. (http://www.amazon.co.uk/DuraSec-High...2131744&sr=8-1)

Well actually I bought the one for the N800 even though I have an N810. It fits just the same but at the time there wasn't one for my model

I've previously have many screen protectors on things in the past, and have never been happy with them, they always changed the light and picture quality or let a sneen on the screen that caused reflections to show up.

BUT this one is totally different!! It's thicker that I would normally expect, but once it's on, you'll never know! It's like a gel, and really doesn't mark at all, or scratch like the plastic ones you can get. There is no reflection and no change to the screen at all! It's amazing!! I've had it one for a year and a half and it's still going good, just like the day I put it on!!

It's well worth paying a little extra and getting one like this! They really do last longer and the quality is just so much better!

The protector I bought from DealExtreme was wider than my N800 screen, so I had to lift the faceplate to fit it, but it wasn't as tall as my screen, so it left some screen exposed on the top and the bottom. Is there one that fits better?

Mine is the correct height. The problem with dx is that you can get a different item even with the same sku.

I'll second that. I've got the DuraSec protector on my N810 and it's great!

I found it very hard to apply accurately, but I seem to have got it on "good enough".

Regards,
Roger
