I maybe just finding out about this program but, it just might be my favorite once I get around wifi to install it. I am such a note freak. That is my most basic reason for getting these devices in the first place.
Side note. Why can't I download the programs to my memory card and install from there. I am unable to get wifi at this moment.
frz, you can download the .deb file to your memory card, the problems with lots of applications however is that you need dependencies which are not included in the original .deb
i believe liqbase only uses default stuff so give it a try
my site hosts a link to the same 0.1.5 .deb as on the maemo repositories.
I did this by accident on the graffiti wall. I saw the delete button, but with the current set up and not showing the entire word, I thought it said select. I clicked on it thinking it would display the drawing full screen, but it instead deleted it. I figured this would be fixed in an update, but one thing I was hoping for in the update was a "confirm delete" dialog box. With the one-click delete its too easy to lose one of your sketches.
go into the ~/.liqbase/sketches folder and rename the file back from .iq.* back to liq.*
I originally had it deleting immediately, but then my youngest found it and decided to erase half my memory
good job i had backups that time.

you aren't late by the way
I just went and download the .deb file. For some odd reason, I am still unable to install. I don't really get an error message other than, "unable to install". I don't know why.
Become root, then try 'dpkg -i' on that .deb. That, at least, should show you some proper error messages if there's a problem.
Here is what I got in Xterminal after becoming root.
Unpacking liqbase (from liqbase_0.1.5_armel.deb) ... dpkg-deb (subprocess): short read in buffer_copy (failed to write to pipe in copy)
dpkg-deb: subprocess paste returned error exit status 2
dpkg-dev: error processing liqbase_0.1.5_armel.deb (--install):
Short read in buffer_copy (backend dpkg-deb during './usr/share/liqbase/NCI_bacon_alpha_small.png')
hmm, just run apt-get (it may report a broken package that it wants to fix), or see if app manager have a liqbase entry under installed applications, but with a black and red icon.
FRZ,
sounds to me like you have a corrupted download.
looking up "short read in buffer_copy" told me that its either something with your apt-get being dirty or the file is corrupt.
all I can suggest is to redownload and try again, of course directly with app manager would be simplest.
