Ghostscripts available for Debian. If you are not sure which version
you should install, choose this.

Yeah, I tried the SDK version, but it has some pretty crazy dependencies, such as debianutils, and coreutils which conflicts with busybox. I'm pretty sure that that mess isn't meant to go on to the tablet, just a devel platform.

I need to use ghostscript on my N800 for a project that I'm working on. It used to be available for Chinook at http://mango.dia.unisa.it/maemo, but that repository is gone now. I see here

that it builds well and could be ready for inclusion in extras, but its not in extras.
I'd be willing to roll my own, but someone else has already done the hard work of trimming the packages of non essentials and docs.
Can anybody point me in the right direction?
