i'm developing a maemo app for a school project using esbox and c. until now i've completed the gui, but i need to connect to a remote sql database and i have no ideea how i can do this. i'm open to all suggestions.

Wouldn't this question make more sense in the development forum than here?

Also this isn't a maemo specific thing. That doesn't mean that it's wrong to ask here. But you may have better luck asking e.g. in some forum about sql database programming or similar.
