Runs decently with sound off, runs slow with sound on but still playable if you have to have sound. It should be playable on an N800 without a need for keyboard, you only need the escape key to get back to the main map.

Death Gate - CD version
Good animations when they occur onscreen.
Perfectly sounding voice overs, it's smooth with no studdering whatsoever.
Obviously the cut scenes run fairly chunky.
And of course I installed the game with no background music.
Technical notes: Touching anywhere outside of the picture screen is the same as right clicking on the mouse.
Having the character voices tremendously improves gameplay enjoyment.
Overall: 4 1/2 stars our of 5.
The configuration settings should be available for download using Ukki's Rubybox.

Looks like a cool game to try, Addison. Thanks for the info. 
Unfortunately right now my N800 is experiencing the infamous looping bug where it never gets to the menu screen (the 2nd time this has happened). So I'll have to spend the next day or so to reload everything and get it back to the way it was.

Silpheed works well.
I have been trying to play Ikari Warriors but I can't figure out what button I need to hit to do F1 and F2. I'm running the latest version of dosbox on an N810.

How did you get it to run?
I tried:
MOUNT D "/media/mmc1/Downloads/DGATE/"
D:
DGATE.exe
And all get is an error message about how it can't load stuff from the CD-ROM...
Any help appreciated.

Hey there BrentDC.
Whether you're a newb or not, you really need to install Rubybox first and foremost.
I would try to help you do that myself but it took quite some time for me to figure it all out, and when I finally got it working, I forgot what I did in the first place since it took so long.
Ukki should really post his own topic on this project, including a sure fire way of getting it installed, along with all of the dependencies required for it, how it works, and how to set up the configurations to download extra content and custom user contributions to his front end loader for all newcomers.
For someone who hasn't followed his work, I'm sure it might be a little overwhelming at first.
Until then, easiest thing to do is to install the game from CD onto your computer and then transfer all of that junk to your memory card.
If you're having any troubles installing, look inside the CD and read any text file that might have came with it. Most games have information to make the setup process much easier for those who are completely new to it all.
For Dosbox, here's a good read:
Dosbox basic setup
But really, just get yourself Rubybox and it will handle all of the mind numbing confusion that comes with Dosbox for you.
Post back if you have any luck.

One click install for RubyBox. Installs all necessary dependencies, including DosBox. Just make sure you have extras enabled for unzip.
