I phoned the number on the PC World website store finder; got through to a central switching desk:
them: "we don't sell Nokia phones"
me: "it's not a phone"
them: "we don't sell Nokia items"
So, with some Google-fu, I found the landline for the Coventry store and rang them.
them: "We have 2 in stock, but would have to physically check" (obviously stock control systems don't actually work - don't get me started on the 48 items in Ikea which didn't exist
So, the guy said he'd check the stock room and get back to me. 3 hours later(!) I was impressed that I got a call back: he couldn't find them :-(
I went to the Old Kent Road branch. The system showed the N800 at this price but they had none in stock. I asked if any other branches might have it in stock but the system came up 'no'.
The N810 also came up at about £80 but none available either.
My other half just picked me up an N810 in a London store for £80 :-) Earlier I phoned PC World (0844 561 0000) and they were able to tell me which local branches still had stock. Keep trying!
Makes me annoyed for paying £145 for an N800 6 months ago...
Anyway, I know someone who works at PC World, she said she'll check tomorrow. She told me they had four PSPs to sell at £40 just after Christmas. I'd only imagine there would be the same amount of N8x0s, if any at all.

I did and they told me that Tottenham Hale and City branches both had stock. But they don't give out the telephone numbers of the stores so I legged it to both shops.
All stock gone.
The situation, basically, is that the staff buy them.
